Introduction

Welcome!  How would you like to go on a treasure hunt?  Well, legend has it that Pythagoras buried his small fortune, which ended up being in Cecil County.  You have the opportunity to search for it.  It is said to be buried at one of the high schools within a two foot radius of the flag pole.  He created a map with a bunch of shapes that will lead you to where his treasure is located.  No one has been able to crack the codes and solve the puzzle.  It involves using trigonometry which is what we are going to learn in the chapter we just started.  Together, I know your group can find The Trigonometry Treasure.  Click on continue if you are ready for the challenge.  The first group to find the treasure gets to keep it.
